John son of Henry and Mary
NB: Local oral reports conflict with formal records, but those are incomplete and may need to check Methodist records too? Bowden is a common name in that area. Note also Henry B from Cambourne around 1868. Cf James Bowden m Lillian Violet bpt James Henry Falmouth 1911.
John in 1861 was a cattle boy Trevithian aged 15. Not in 1871 Cs. 1892 in Mary's will.
A John married Beatrice and had at least 3 children:
James Bowden b.c. 1876; A James Bowden E. m Mabel Lillian Bowden (d. fisherman) in 1896, when both are 20 and he a farm labourer from Coverack. Father given as John, a miner and witnessed Alice Ann. At Percival's baptism JB is a boatman -ace.
Eliza Sidwell -is bpt 23/7/1899 St Peters; bpt of Coverack, daughter John, miner and Beatrice. Coverack Weslyan Sunday School 1914 scholars include a Sidwell Eustice.
Alice Ann -is b.c. (SCH at P) 1879 m Cary (SCH) m James Arthur Cary 19/10/1899 when she 20 and d of John, miner (he 22 and fisherman). John the miner buried -ice Coverack 27/8/1908 aged 63 St Peters.
NB The John with those children could be son of Richard and Mary (in turn son of Wm and Eliz Glasson???). Cf Johnj the moner in Falmouth.
James Bowden m Mabel Lillian Bowden. A James Bowden E. m Mabel Lillian Bowden (d. fisherman) in 1896, when both are 20 and he a farm labourer from Coverack. She buried 4/8/1952 age 77 St Peters, although a stone says -is died 1/8/1952 aged 76.

Percival -ace bt 16/1/1906 St. P m Edith. Children include Francis Esme (m Paul Albert Channon 4/7/1953 as of Pretoria, Coverack, when P a civil engineer -ice). Tjis entry corectedd after an error and the correction signed PE and EH as -is. Edith Irene (M Vernon or Veran 8/11/1953 St. P when P a civil engineer.) and Mabel Lillian. Mabel L married K.R. Cox St Peters 5/10/1959 aged 22 as of Pretoria, Coverack, as hotel waitress. Oral evidence suggests a Percy and Flo living Trenance Farm late 20thC.
Francis Henry b 1909 M Elsie - children include Francis James who had Barrty Alexander. Elsie as widow of "Frank" wrote to say Mabel Lillian married William, who died in hospital in Torquay where he is buried aged 42. She gave 8 sons and one daughter. Don Eustace visited Percy and thence claimed Mabel married Henry son of William. There may be several Mabels, re-marriages, faulty memories or all 3.
